Of turn in Majorca, a group of friends and the rector of their town of Vilafranca of Bonany, they organize a popular collection to record their first disk,"Canto a la Villa" (1980). Starting from here, with the support and several well-known musicians' help in the Island, their discografía begins to grow very much, and Tomeu Rock begins to be a phenomenon, and for many, an authentic one relating of the local music.

After fifteen years of career discográfica that endorse their artistic trajectory, Tomeu, goes every day in constant evolution; it bets for the future and he/she wants to bet strong. For years, their presence is required in the best parties in the Catalan countries. Besides all this it invites him to him and it participates in Julio's month in the Greek's program 96 to the Music's Palace, the most important cultural event and of long tradition in Catalunya, as for artistic activities he/she refers. It is an act of a lot of importance for Tomeu, as artist and in the personal thing. Tomeu Rock doesn't have limits neither opposite, it is absolutely open to everything and to everybody.
Their bigger illusion is rewarded with the work, the hard work but very fact. It is a very productive and creative cantautor, of a progressive quality that never defrauds their public. Their force and magnetism make that the public his side is. The fifth disc "Mallorquines and Catalanes" (1986) it will be the one that opens him the doors of Catalunya that he/she received with delight their music's fresh air.
In 1987 it was already a phenomenon in Catalunya and it surprises more and more their unusual musical adventure. The media of all Catalunya dedicates him extensive reports, interviews, etc.

The career of Tomeu continues unstoppable: prizes, recitals, televisions... and their dream: performance in the Music's Palace (1989). Its success in the Catalan market is more and more growing, and he/she receives Slight Music's National Prize, granted by the Generalitat of Catalunya in the month of October of 1992. At the moment, Tomeu Rock is a concerned and interested interpreter when finding new ways to understand and of interpreting the music, under a new, special visit point, but attractiveness for the listeners. The public that he appreciated and it follows it he/she is people of all the ages from the smallest until the biggest and they go to their concerts everybody, because they enjoy with their songs. At the moment he/she has engravings more than 15 disks the last one "Easy" (Discmedi-Azul).
