The musical trajectoria of Lucky Guri is very well-known in the jazzy world of Barcelona.
From the year 1971 in that began their performances in the "Cave of the Dragón of Barcelona", where he had occasion of playing accompanying big figures of the North American Jazz, it was deepening in this musical gender.

The first group NEW JAZZ TRIO that later in 1975 he leaves to reconvertir in BARCELONA TRACTION, 2 LP burdens and it will participate in the 12 hours of Rock in Canet. To the margin of their performances like a pianist soloist in different places, it also intervenes in television programs, concretely in the year 1987 in TV3 in the program "TREs PICS AND REPICO" that makes the character of "SAM" that gives him force and popularity.

In October of 1995 also in TV3 their collaboration begins in the program "SENSE TITOL" at Andreu Buenafuente. It is this way like he is formed the one SEXTET DIXIELAND DE LUCKY GURI, after proving the first experiences in Jam-Sessions, they decide to leave to interpret their concerts in diferents places of Catalunya. The acceptance on the part of the públic is very good. The music that they offer us in its concerts in different places of Catalunya, is a sample of the best North American standars, mixing other topics in those that stamp its personnel style and making, in summary, authentic NEW music ORLEANS.
